Stomach and Spleen Yin for Calm
Stress, Anxiety and Sleep
•
50m
The stomach and spleen meridians run up the front and inner legs then one travels to the top of the stomach and the other to the front of the shoulders (spleen). We begin with some myofascial work followed by a sequence that starts with a yang sequence to awaken and shift dormant energy. We then land on the mat to open up the front of the body and include some work on the hips (dragon lunge and sleeping swan).
Props required: Blocks, bolster, blanket, 2 tennis balls (or similar, I offer options at the start)

'Barreeasy' A stretchy flow
The perfect recovery class if you're body's feeling a little sore or tight, also perfect to add to one of my quick-fire 20-30 minute classes. A nice stretchy warm-up standing followed by a little core work but really focussing on lengthening the muscles.
A feel-good class.
