The Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (Teek Nyaht Hahn) said:
"Breathing in, I calm my body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is the only moment."
Our breath is what brings us back into the present. No matter what is going on in our life, our breath is always like a faithful friend that can bring us to a calm and grounded state.
A wonderful reminder of the power of our breath. Have this one on repeat!
Props required: be warm and cosy in a comfortable seated position.

Yin_ grounding practice with meditation
This special yin practise begins with one of my favourite meditations the 'cup of tea'. Your poses are all focused on calming and grounding you, cultivating a sense of inner ease. Give yourself more support than you think you need to begin and ease your way in overtime - the yin approach!
